It's Monday and Day 18 of the Picture-A-Day Challenge. Today I did some portraits of baby Vivian. She was also the model for my podcast, which will be posted on Wednesday. Keep an eye out for it!
I used some fabric to wrap her in and placed her on a pillow.
The portraits were shot in the garage area of my studio and was lit with ambient light.
I used a white piece of foam core with tin foil to fill the shadows.
As you can gather from observation, the shoot was done using tools that one may find in their house. Easy-peasy.
The background is a secondary piece of card stock. This eliminates any distraction and makes Vivian the star attraction!

Here are Andy's Day 17 Pictures. He shot the picture above on Manual at ISO 400, F-2.8 and 1/8 shutter speed. As you can imagine, it was a very low light situation.

This picture was shot on Aperture Priority at ISO 200, F-22 and 1/8000 shutter speed. This picture was the complete opposite of the image above. Lots of light.
