Day 14 of Picture-A-Day 2010

Here is Andy's Day 13 picture of birds in flight. I really like the gradient color and pictorial quality of it. Andy shot it with the Nikon D3 and 70mm lens. He shot it on Aperture Priority at ISO 400, F-4 and 1/2000 shutter speed.

Day 14 was a pretty good day. In fact, it's the last day of my 20's. Tomorrow, I'll be 30 years old! I started my day at the studio and finished up some work. Then I met up with my longtime friend, Ashley Brokop. She and I served together in the 1st Combat Camera Unit. We've been very good friends since. We worked out some packages for shooting together. I have photographed with Ashley before and really enjoyed myself. Actually, we had a bunch of laughs and I am sure we will have many more.

My Day 14 picture isn't just ONE photo today. Actually, it's more of one series. My friend, Ashley, has three very lovely children: Wesley, Betsy and Abbey. Today, I used her youngest, Abbey, as my muse. She is so sweet and I couldn't resist turning my camera's attention to her.

Well, tomorrow is my birthday. I'm not sure what will inspire my picture of the day. But I am sure it will be festive!
