Day 6 of the Picture-A-Day Challenge. Andy's is North Carolina and I'm plugging away in Charleston. Actually, it's about 6:00 p.m. and I am still sitting at my desk. Luckily, I have my dog, Penny Lou, to keep my lap warm.

Andy did a long exposure using a flash light to get the light stream on the either side of the jacket. I think this technique made a simple picture much more interesting.

Andy sent me this picture last night for his Day 5 picture. He took this picture in his hotel. He set the picture up for timed release. You could use this application for a lot of things.

Here is my picture for Day 6. I shot this picture of vitamins on a light table with an additional light from above. I used the "Image Overlay" option under my Nikon D3 camera menu settings to achive the multiple exposure look.
I took the original image into Adobe Photoshop and did some blur on the edges using Gaussian Blur tool. I also used the Solarizing Filter and Smart Sharpen Filter to give it some pop.

Here is another version of the vitamin shot. I did this one a bit differently by using the "Multiple Exposure" option under my Nikon D3 camera menu. I also used Hue and Saturation in Adobe Photoshop to give it to kaleidoscope feel.

I used the Solarizing Filter to give the original image this look and then used Smart Sharpen Filter to give it some added contrast and dimension.
